National Council of Skills and Vocational Education

National Council of Skills and Vocational Education has been established and run by ANAHECT. National Council for Skill and Vocational Education is India’s best non-profit autonomous skill education development-led organization. The main objective of NCSVE is to provide skill related education and training to the poor youth living in rural and urban areas. NCSVE aims to promote skill development by catalyzing the creation of large, quality training institutions. The National Council for Skills and Vocational Education also plays an important role in developing private skill-based and vocational education in India. It is implemented as a holistic approach to enhance the overall quality of skill-based education in the private sector.

Skills development generally relates to the acquisition of productive capabilities at various educational and training levels encompassing formal, non-formal, informal and on-the-job contexts. It empowers individuals to actively participate in livelihoods and adapt their skills to meet the demands of the economy and job market. The attainment of these capabilities depends on many factors, such as a strong lifelong learning framework and a conducive learning environment.
